Employment data was Released by Statistics Canada on Friday December 6th, 2013.
It showed 21,600 jobs were created in November, which was in contrast to the estimated 12,500 jobs that economists had expected.
The unemployment rate remains at 6.9% for the third straight month. This brings the total job creation numbers over the last 11 months at approximately 147,400 (or an average of 13,400 jobs per month).
The US states economy has also seen encouraging employment numbers adding approximately 203,000 jobs to the economy in the month of November,
and unemployment to a 5 year low of 7.0%.
